With an extra guy it still took almost 6 hours. They focused their time on things that didn't matter and rushed on the things that did. They dropped furniture resulting in damage. I had a few pieces that didn't survive the trip. After they left I found a trail of damage on both move in and move out places where brute force seemed to be the preferred method to getting things done, regardless of walls in the way.
We used Two Men and a Truck two and a half years ago when we moved from Lake St Louis to Dardenne Prairie and the three guys were super so we used them again today to move furniture around the house again. Marcus and Patrick showed up on time and did a super job. The office staff from the get go are great too. Thanks for a job well done.
Dont use this company our movers were fine until the boss called and we said they were doing a good job then it was like a switch was flipped they started standing around talking about personal things they didnt put boxes in the correct rooms they put fragile boxes at the bottom of the stacks and some boxes are even breaking
I took a survey indicating I would not recommend them in the future. Today I received a call asking if I'd change my opinion and respond on a survey that I'd be willing to recommend them if they gave me a $60 refund. The total move was over $1100. It would take at least a 50% refund for me to say the experience was worth it and any reccomendation would come with a big asterisk. Their attempt to very cheaply buy my reccomendation has made me go from just not reccomending them to making sure I speak out against them to anyone moving.
This is a last resort for seeking help. I moved back home this past July from my apartment my mom had used this company twice without any major hiccups. This time while loading up my furniture they did not wrap my less than 2 year old bedroom furniture. The men moving tried to take it out to the truck without fully disassembling. Then I saw them drop my headboard. I contacted my mom as they put it in the truck to look at it when it arrived home to look for damage. Before they removed the bed one of the men approached my mother before she even said a word or looked at the bed and said prior to moving it there was damage to the set. My mom looked at man and asked if he wanted to try again and he said no mam. She asked him again is that the story you are going to stand behind and he said yes. She then told him that I saw him drop the headboard and would be contacting his supervisor Marcus. She did so and he asked if we wanted him removed from the premises we said they could complete the job which they did and we paid full price for and go outside once they left and there was cardboard just left on the front porch which is a hazard since my uncle is disabled. I sent pictures of the damage and they said they could send a repair man over to correct the furniture. He came and didn't even sand down the damage and colored with a furniture corrector marker I asked him to sand it and he did and said it was done and it did not look close to what it did before. I called Marcus back and told him and he offered me $200 or for me to send the furniture back to the shop of the man who came over to fix it because that was the only option. $200 was not going to buy a new set or fix the damage so I reluctantly agreed. He told me it should take 48 hours. I was without it for over a week. It came back and it was worse than before with new scratches and the old ones not fixed I was extremely disappointed and I called back and said this was not resolved and he told me there was nothing else he was willing to do and he was done. I tried calling the corporate office and spoke to someone and they reached out to him and it has been another week and I have not heard anything. This has been an awful experience and my furniture is ruined and it was not made right.
I had used them before on a move years ago and they were great. I got a quote a few weeks ago and after I put my eyes back in my head I decided I'd be willing to pay it because they did a good job last time. They quoted 6-7 hours but with only moving some furniture and a large portion of inventory dropping from the original list I was pretty confident it would be 4 hours max.
This company totally ripped me off. I paid $991 for a move that was a ten minute drive. Then when we get to the new address they tell us that my couches won't fit through the door. So one of the guys asked if he could have the smaller one! I totally feel like that's part of their scam to get people's furniture. I had already promised it to some one else so I had them deliver to her. They then added a whole nother hour to my bill so I ended up paying $991 dollars for aove. I wish I would've followed my first mind & not used them. I ad VB use anyone considering using this company DONT they are overly priced.
